Fishbone Stitch

The Fishbone Stitch can be used to fill in leaves. Draw a line in the middle of the leaf for orientation.

Fishbone Stitch Instructions

  1. Make a straight stitch from the tip of the leaf along the center line.
  2. Bring the needle up on the left side of the first stitch and go back down on the center line slightly below the first stitch.
  3. Now come up on the right side and bring the needle back to the center.
  4. Do the same on the left.

Repeat the process to fill the whole shape.
